Ovulation tracking

Hi everyone!
I am tracking my ovulation. Started to test on 07/01 (being my 11th cycle day) and I had negative results until today (10/01) when I had a Peak.
This never happened before, so I decided to take another test using the old holder and I had a negative again.
Soooo confusing 😓 I don’t get it. Someone know why this happened?

The first time you use a reader it will always be a blank circle as it takes this first reading as your baseline. Even if you are on your peak today & tested with a new holder it would give a blank circle as it doesn’t have any previous data to compare your level to. Does that make sense? You probably just had a very quick high LH surge which means you missed out the flashing smiley. Usually surges happen in the afternoon, if you are testing in the morning & then you get the surge that afternoon, by the time you test the next morning it will be a static as you’ll be at your peak. I usually test late afternoon because of this after a 3 hours urine hold.

Thanks for your reply. I generally test in the morning, probably that’s why. I will try to buy the strips (not even sure if that will make me understand what is happening), to see if there is any difference.
