Clear Blue Ovulation Tests

Hi all

we have just this cycle decided to start TTC. I bought the CB digital ovulation tests and used as instructed.

I finally got a flashing smiley on CD16, same again CD17 and then when I inserted the test on CD18 it started flashing a smiley before I’d done it. At this point I gave up and didn’t do the test as it wasn’t showing as test ready. I know once you’ve got a static smiley it stays like that but I’m a bit confused about this months chances as I never got my static/peak test.

Not sure if I’ve done something wrong or if the test was faulty. Would appreciate any thoughts 😊

@PatRey so on CD18 you plugged in a new test & it just stared flashing smiley straight away? If that’s the case then either a faulty test or a faulty reader. The flashing smiley stays for 8mins I think so you could have tried another new test from the pack maybe

Yep that’s correct. Thank you, I didn’t think this was right but didn’t think of trying a new test!

Would you assume C18 I would have got a static? Surely it couldn’t have been mush later!

Had you just ejected the test from the day before? It flashes the previous result for two minutes when you eject the test.

Ohhh I may well have done! There was me about to complain to CB! Off to Amazon to try again for next month (and read the instructions again!). Many thanks!
