Advice on conception after ectopic

Looking for some advice/support maybe please- I'm 30 and had an ectopic pregnancy with the IUD in March 2023 (methotrexate and surgery but no tube removal in the end).
My Partner and I have now decided we would like to start trying this month to get pregnant, with me coming off the pill. (I've been ready for a long time 😅).
However, I'm worried about another ectopic, especially with a weeks holiday booked in Dubai to see family in March.
I could wait until I am back in 8/9 weeks but the thought of waiting even longer is so difficult. (Had to wait due to many reasons methotrexate/a booked holiday last year with the risk of Zika/new job and probation period/money etc).

I'm not sure what to do and not too sure what advise I'm looking for. But maybe anyone who has gotten pregnant after an ectopic, or subsequent ectopics, how long it may have taken to get pregnant please 💕
Thank you!

Hello!
I'm currently 5 and a bit weeks pregnant. I had an ectopic pregnancy a year ago, which was treated by surgery (tube removed). It took 2 cycles to get pregnant after deciding to have another go at ttc! I have a scan on Friday to check the location, but haven't had any pain or bleeding so fingers crossed it's all good.
Hope that's reassuring! I've seen other threads like this with plenty of people saying having an ectopic didn't prevent them from going on to have successful pregnancies.

@GJ193 Not me personally, but one of my best friends had a very bad ectopic pregnancy and a stillbirth at 7months. She has gone on to conceive healthy pregnacies several times since, including twins (and unwanted pregnancies...).

My nextdoor neighbour also had an ectopic, and has a daughter now. Ectopics can certainly be problematic, but often should be able to still conceive just fine.
