Possible NYE spontaneous conception

Hi all

Wasn't actively TTC but had a "sod it" night on NYE and thought it took so long for DS to be conceived a one off would be highly unlikely to do anything. But I've got horrific sore boobs! I only usually get them a few days before AF which isn't due until later this month.

So now I'm wondering and accidentally joined the TWW group

When we were TTC first time round I was a real symptom spotter every month so it's nice to just go with the flow (or without for that matter) and see what the end of the month brings.

Anyone else not trying but not not trying?

We would love another but not actively trying (actually still on the pill) but after feeling a bit "charged" took an ovulation test that was very positive (I don't normally ovulate in this pill) so suspect a failure of it so seeing what fate brings. Would be so happy if I was just wasn't planning just yet :)

We also sort of said sod it to contraception around the middle of November time and I found out I’m pregnant on NYE! 🫣 It’s our third! Both our other children took 10 months each time to conceive so we are definitely in shock as we were really expecting it to take just as long again, if not longer honestly.

@L00k4m3x massive congratulations to you! How lovely to start the year that way! Our son took 10 months too and I've always hoped to fall around Christmas / NY so what luck if we're all 3 for 3!
