Some advice re vvfl tests 16 dpo please

Hi ladies, I’d like some advice regarding positive tests I’ve had since yesterday the first one done yesterday, was a home bargains 10 ml early response one and today was a normal Superdrug 20 ml one with barely there lines. I ovulated according to sticks and Premom ap on 22 dec, I think implantation possible last weekend based on cramping maybe start of this week , so to have such faint lines is quite concerning. I’d love for it to be normal and it to progress but I see so many positive strong tests way before periods due that I’m feeling as though it will go no where any advice really appreciated. Had some symptoms little dizziness, lots of wee-ing , smell things a mile away and a few other things. Absolutely no bleeding. Thanks ☺️

I didn’t want to read and run. My app also says I ovulated on 23rd December. I’m currently late aswell but haven’t yet tested.

At 16DPO you would expect a darker line.

Though it's possible you miscalculated and ovulated later than you think perhaps?

@Outliers thanks for the response. I don’t think so. I was tracking with lh strips although stopped testing after got the peak. Only dtd once inbetween x mas and ny I think as was so busted from Smep. 😬only think I could think of is late implantation of say Sunday / Monday this week but would I not have stronger lines after 6/7 days of time to build hormones. This was my Premom tests if you can make any sense of it. Still no sign of af either.

@Hollycharlie you're right, implantation can take place as late as 12DPO - so that's certainly a possibility.

A frustrating position to be in no doubt, but I guess for now all you can do is monitor progression with FMU. Hopefully it continues to get stronger

@Outliers thanks that’s good to know it could be a possibility . I’m prepared either way so what will be will be. I’d just rather bleed and move on instead of it dragging out so we shall see if the tests are any clearer on Tuesday. I don’t see the point in taking. First response one now as it’s so late on so I’ll keep at the normal ones . Thanks for your thoughts x

I have had on off mild cramps the last few days so I feel like AF is on her way. I did do a cheap test yesterday afternoon which was negative so I’m not feeling positive. Surely 2 days late it should have been positive by now if I was pregnant.

I did have covid last month which I have read can mess up a cycle sometimes, however, this is the 3rd time I have had it and it hasn’t happened before. I duno, I don’t really have much hope but fingers crossed!

@Alice89R AF turned up 😭😭😭think it must’ve been chemical like I expected. 🤯it’s ok I was well prepare for it. Xx
