the thread I started asking for tips to take into our first appointment with the fertility nurse. Its been a whole year! most of the women who were on the ttc threads with me are either pg or have had babies and of course Im happy for them, but Im sad for us too!

I know a year isnt that long, nor is 2.5y (which is how long we've been ttc) and Im lucky that dh only has to look at me and im up the duff, but im a bit sad about it and fed up of failing at the only thing I really want to do and do well!

Hi Lissie, I dont know where the time goes. Its been 3 years since my 1st ectopic and a year since the 2nd. Never thought I would still be here tcc 3.5 years later! I feel so sad that I havent always been able to enjoy dd but like you know I am so lucky to have her. Lets hope we both arent still here next year.

That's freaky Lissie... I was thinking about that the other day... just went and had a look back at old threads...

On the 17th March 07... I said to you "Almost missed your post, yep, you should temp as soon as you wake after a minimum of 3 hours of unbroken sleep"

I cannot believe how quick the time goes.

I never thought I would still be sans baby after 19 months of ttc

camillathechicken · 18/03/2008 10:18

but it is long enough, isn;t it?

LilRedWG · 18/03/2008 10:19

My posting a year ago is a bit bittersweet - It was a couple of days after what would have been my due date and I wrote

"This week, on my due date my dh sent me a lovely bunch of flowers and I didn't think to get him anything"

Bittersweet because I had forgotten DH had done something so lovely but that a year has gone by and still no nearer no2. And all the lovely ladies I was posting with at the time all have their babies now.

Ready · 18/03/2008 11:36

cedar, you are right... I have lost my requisite 10lbs - and my size 12 jeans are too big for me - yay! ...

I am grateful for MN though - it certainly has helped me over the last million months

lissielouwithbunnyears · 18/03/2008 12:08

This was me on the 19th March last year, in the tent of indifference:

bovvered

Still just about sums it all up...

lissielouwithbunnyears · 18/03/2008 12:28

Nah. They all just shuffled out in a slough of despond, leaving it muddy and slightly trampled in its mire.

duchesse · 18/03/2008 12:31

It's here if you can be arsed...

Hello Duchesse, loooong time no see

duchesse · 18/03/2008 18:07

Hello Ready old chum. How are things?

Ready · 18/03/2008 18:22

Things are good, considering I am still here 20th cycle is sadly, imminent... an array of tests later and apparently nothing to explain why it hasn't happened yet, and we are to "keep trying" - the longer it goes on, obviously they will put us on the list for IVF, but we are not sure we are ready for that yet...

Over the last 6 months we have sold our house and moved across the country, lived in hotels, with family, and are now in our own place, I have got a new job, which I start soon... things are hopefully going to settle down for us and then perhaps we will hit the jackpot?!

How are you? Still living The Good Life?
