Faint?

possibly.

Zanatdy · 05/01/2024 17:06

Yes I can see it

catgirl1976 · 05/01/2024 17:06

I can see it. Congratulations (assuming that’s a pregnancy test and not a covid test and this is good news)

Namechange9876543210 · 05/01/2024 17:11

YABU for spelling faint wrong and for not stipulating whether it is a pregnancy or COVID test 😅

YANBU to think there's a line.

Pungifries · 05/01/2024 17:24

Sorry name change! Its a pregnancy test x

Cas112 · 05/01/2024 17:25

I see it!

ManateeFair · 05/01/2024 17:25

Very faint indeed. If it's a pregnancy test I'd be doing another one in a couple of days. If it's a Covid test then yes, you've got Covid.

Keeva2017 · 05/01/2024 17:27

Yep I can see it

LadyGrinningSoul85 · 05/01/2024 17:30

I can definitely see it! Congratulations 🎉

I got one of those today too, completely unexpected, only took one because I woke feeling queasy and it felt familiar.
I've convinced myself it's false though.

Yes, I can see that line

LilyMumsnet · 05/01/2024 17:37

We're just moving this to the conception topic. Flowers

Mumsnet moved it to Conception, it wasn’t originally posted in Conception.

It was originally posted in AIBU.... It wouldn't take a genius to see the Mumsnet message stating it was being moved nor the AIBU poll at the top...

OP, good luck with your re-test 🙂 If I recall correctly, Clear Blue require a higher level of hormone than some other tests. I think First Response are the most sensitive?

Outliers · 05/01/2024 19:58

Looks clearly negative to me I'm afraid, but I'd prefer to be wrong.

How many DPO are you, and when is period due?

Pungifries · 05/01/2024 21:52

thanks everyone and sorry for posting in the wrong bit.

DPO …around 21 days. Complicated by taking noristerone to delay my period, but finished this 1 week ago so period due day approx 1st Jan

Hmm at 21DPO you wouldn't even to make a thread the line would be very apparent.

Can you pause the medication to allow period to start? I wish you best of luck with next cycle.

Pungifries · 06/01/2024 09:28

Hi, yes, medication has been stopped for a week, would normally start my period after about 48 hours so I’m about 5 days “late” as I’ve delayed it but 21 DPO
still no period this morning but feel completely normal

OP posts:
BodyKeepingScore · 06/01/2024 10:10

Looks negative to me I'm afraid. At 21 DPO you'd expect a much stronger line. The medication to delay periods can mess with your cycle so being "late" wouldn't be unusual.

Pungifries · 06/01/2024 14:22

thanks everyone

I’ve got my period x

would have been unexpected and unplanned so quite relieved x
