Please compare symptoms

Hi All

I every month convince myself I could be pregnant, until my period inevitably comes. The last couple of months however, I have not been doing this (until now).

My cycles tend to be 27 days, my last period was the 10th December. I did ovulation tests on my suggested days and showed as negative. We had unprotected sex on the 17th & 18th and some symptoms I've noticed are:

26th December - extreme fatigue, painful boobs and cramps
27th - 31st - so moody!!! Unlike me anyway but I was a right cow throughout this time!! Has eased off
Boobs still sore and noticeably a bit bigger than normal - cannot even touch my nipples
I am due on in 2 days, normally I get period cramps a week prior, worse than they are when my period comes, I have had faint cramps
This morning I have been spotting, not into the pad but when I wipe (light pink)
Very sinus-y for weeks and congested at the moment even though I was also ill for two weeks before Christmas

Can ovulation occur before/after predicted dates? I am also aware sperm can live for up to 5 days.. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this??

I've seen people have all the symptoms and not be pregnant, and women absolutely no symptoms, and be very pregnant. Most symptoms before 6weeks can be linked to progesterone more than HCG.

Symptom spotting makes the two week wait much harder. Why? Because no matter what signs you find to reinforce the notion you have conceived, the only way you'll ever know/confirm early pregnancy is a HCG test.

Save yourself the torture, and keep yourself occupied until its test time. Good luck either way

We dtd 3 days before predicted ovulation (used OPKs) and I’ve just found out I’m pregnant. I will say I’ve had zero symptoms what so ever. With my second I also had no symptoms until 5/6 weeks when I started vomiting multiple times a day so this time I’m enjoying it whilst I can 😅

If these symptoms are because you’re pregnant then I imagine you’d get a positive test at this point, maybe give one a try? Best of luck ✨
