Hi im so sorry to bother people. Im still 9 days away from my predicted period and only 5 dpo i think, but that could be wrong as i didnt track it. Just guessing from how i felt and having egg white stretchy discharge. Basically today ive gotten alot more discharge than i normally do. Its white in colour and thicker. I did a at home thrush and bv test which both said negative so i dont have either of those. Ive seen some people saying ur discharge changes when u get pregnant, im not saying i am as obs i dont know but dont want to think into it if its nothing. Ive still got quite a few days till i can test and this has just gave me so much anxiety, i feel so dirty and gross like theres something wrong with me. It doesnt smell or anything, just like i said ive had more than i normally do. Sorry this probs is so gross to talk about. I do apologise and im sorry if this isnt the page to ask things like this. Many thanks x

That white, thick discharge you mention, is it a bit sticky too? If so, that tells you that you have ovulated. You get the egg white stuff when you're ovulating, then it changes to the thicker, sticky stuff. It all sounds completely normal, like your body is doing what it's supposed to. It can be different each month as well.

It's probably not linked to pregnancy, it's a bit too early for that. You might start getting symptoms a couple of days before your period is due though, it's a long time ago for me but I certainly did.

Try not to worry and best of luck for when you test.

@Skye49 don't feel gross hun, nothing you can do about a natural bodily function! I always find that calling it cervical mucus softens it…rather than discharge which does sound gross! Haha. As long as it doesn’t smell then it’s all good & your body is doing what it’s supposed to do 🙂
I can’t really offer advice on whether it’s a pregnancy symptom as I’ve not been pregnant but for me, last month in the tww I had super clear just a little bit of blobby white cottage cheese type looking CM & then this month I had thick yellow/white & loads of it…both times not pregnant so tracking my CM doesn’t help me unfortunately. I hope the tww goes quickly for you 🤞🏼🍀

I have had very strange and unexpected vaginal discharge for the last 9 months and I have never been pregnant. :/
