CB week indicator issue

My cycles vary between 28-30 days. My LMP start date was 3/12 which would make me 4 weeks or 3w6d (depending on cycle length. I've just taken a Clearblue week indicator test which showed 1-2 weeks.

Am I wrong in thinking it should have shown 2-3 weeks considering we dtd on the 16th and 17th? I'm certain about these dates.

You can't be certain of implantation though.

I wouldn't be concerned tbh

Those tests aren’t accurate enough to take as gospel. They also measure from the time of conception not LMP which would be within the 1-2 week frame.

Hi, I did one this afternoon which says pregnant 1-2. I wondered the same thing as my period started 5th Dec but if you look at the leaflet that comes with the tests, it does say 1- 2 means from conception.

I know, but I conceived slightly over 2 weeks ago (more like 2weeks and 1 or 2 days). So would this mean it should show 2-3 weeks as I conceived over 2 weeks ago?

They aren't always going to be exact. If you DTD on 16th and 17th you may not have conceived then. It could have happened a couple of days later. Plus the 17th was 2 weeks ago yesterday.

They have rough HCG ranges that they use to decide 1-2, 2-3 or 3+ but it’s not an exact science. Everyone’s levels will be slightly different.

I did it too but these tests are anxiety inducing! The darkness of the line or the weeks indicated does not mean anything. Try and relax a bit and just enjoy being pregnant.
