Implantation bleeding?? for 3 days... bfn

Hi,

Long time since I posted on these boards but we're back trying for baby number 2. Have been for a few months. This cycle is a bit wacky. Couldn't pin point ovulations so stopped testing. Still haven't come on. 3 days ago I started spotting. Tiny bits of pink and brown mixed with mucus discharge. Literally a few times a day when I wiped. It's still happening but getting a lot less. I've tested but still negative. Does this sound like implantation bleeding? I've never had anything like this before!

When is your period due?
If it is implantation bleeding the test wouldn't be positive yet as the egg is only just embedding itself.

I'm overdue my period due to a wacky long cycle! And no idea if/when I ovulated so it's a minefield!

Ann thank you, that's good to know. I suppose I'll just have to watch and wait and hope it doesn't progress into my period! X

That literally sounds like a standard period.

The fact you're overdue, testing negative, and bleeding, all points to it being a period.

@Outliers but it's literally the tiniest bit of pink/brown that's now stopped? It might not be implantation bleeding but it's most certainly not my normal period (I've had a lot of them haha 🫣)

I'm on day 55 of my cycle so it may just be a wacky cycle I suppose. Definitely not period blood tho. It wasn't even heavy enough to be classed as light flow!

@aprilruby1 how strange. How long are are your cycles usually?

@Outliers yeah it's so strange! I do have PCOS but since having my first, cycles have averaged out to about 36 days. Still long but normally don't really go over this much! I'll wait it out and if my period hasn't come In the next week or so i'll do another test I guess! Not missed this TTC life 😂

@aprilruby1 Hi! I've had a really similar thing happen and just posted on the forum but then came across your post!

I had similar discharge that stopped after 2 days but still no AF but also negative pregnancy tests!

So frustrating!

Hey @WaitingForLittleSunflower sorry I've just seen this!! How strange is it!! Yes I'm pretty much still just waiting! No more blood or discharge- just nothing! I did start doing ovulation sticks again but nothing much to report there either. I hope something happens for you soon, it's so frustrating to be just stuck in a void with it! X
