Big bleed then pos test?

I had a v faint pos on a frer last Thursday (7dpo) I then started what I thought was my period the next day. Heavy bleeding stomach pain and cramps. It only lasted 2 days but I am spotting very slightly now. This “period”was 7 days early. I’ve not felt right since so I’ve just found an easy at home test and taken that and looks like I have a faint positive on that one now. I’m 11dpo today. I know I just need to wait and test again in a few days but has anyone had a similar experience?

I don’t think that’s a positive I’m afraid. That test is flooded and there is a dye bleed. It’s likely that dye bleed has travelled up the indent which is why you see a line.
You need to re test and collect a sample in a cup, so you can dip the test in, rather than test under the stream and risk flooding which can give what you read as false positives.

It's almost impossible to test positive at 7DPO. So likely ovulation calculation is off or it was an evaporation line.

If you were bleeding was as heavy as you describe and spotting afterwards sounds like a standard period I'm afraid.

Cycle irregularities happen, they're just difficult to reconcile when you're TTC. The cycle before I TTC/ conceived, my period came 7 days early. Never happened to be before then.
