Cycle days wrong

So after going through all the apps and my previous AF due dates, I've realised that I've had my Ovulation dates and cycle length wrong!

Really annoyed at myself for bit noticing. I don't test ovulation which I'm going to start doing from next cycle. But instead of thinking I have a 28 day cycle I actually have an average of 30 day cycle.

Would this make a huge difference?

In short, testing to estimate when your are ovulating will make a difference.

I used apps and didn’t realise until I started properly testing for ovulation that the apps were all wrong. They work on an algorithm so just base it on the typical woman.
I’ve since found that some months I ovulate early and other months I can ovulate a lot later.

Hopefully when you start testing for ovulation that you will see a difference. Sperm can last in your body for up to 5 days so there is hope but it really depends on if you’re ovulation time was actually close to when the app predicted it to be and when you dtd.
