TTC and very confused

Any help or stories would be greatly appreciated. We had our son May 2023 and have decided to start TTC, this has been our first month trying. AF is very, very regular and I’ve been on a 28 day cycle since a few months after my son.

7dpo-9dpo: light brown spotting
10dpo-11dpo: light pink/red spotting after dtd the night before both days
12dpo: thought I had gotten my period
13dpo: light pink spotting and woke up nauseous
14dpo: AF due and light pink/brown spotting and woke up nauseous

I generally spot the day before AF and have a heavy first day. I took a test mid week and today and got a bfn both times.

Super confused as to what’s going on, is it still possible I could get a bfp in a few days?

It's certainly possible.

Though more likely that AF is late if its due and you're testing mensing. Test with first morning pee, if so negative then I'd just wait for it to show up.

Not sure if you're still breastfeeding, but if you are, it can make your cycles irregular.
