Drinking during TWW

I know we should reduce alcohol intake but can we have 2-3 drinks while on our TWW as a one-off?
Friends invited me out tonight, and there'll be drinking involved but I am not going to be drinking more than 3.

Implantation does not happen util at least 6dpo, so before this you are not technically pregnant and what you consume will not directly be passed on. After that personally I would avoid as it's been shown that of all the times, the very early days are the most sensitive to alcohol. It would probably be fine, but I wouldn't risk.

It's personal preference but personally I took the drink till it's pink approach - I have 25 day cycles and would test the day AF was due.

Thankfully I've had easy ttc journeys (pregnant cycle 1 both times) so that may impact my decision making process but I think it's too consuming to potentially change your life for years when you are ttc.

As others have said - alcohol doesn't get to the embryo until implantation. I wouldn't go crazy - that being said the times I've conceived have been months where I've just let myself go and relaxed. Same with many friends.

I'd avoid personally. But the risks at this stage are probably minimal.

I’m in TWW over Xmas. I’m planning to have a few drinks but only 1-2 a day. The scientific evidence for alcohol in pregnancy is so limited anyway.
