Ovulation bleeding

I just wondered if anyone else gets a light amount of bleeding during ovulation time? I don't think I used to at all but recently have been getting some, but wondering if it's linked to more sex? Maybe slight irritation due to us doing it more as TTC. Would be grateful for any insight!

My goodness... I'm 34, never ever experienced this... Had it for the first time a few days ago. It lasted 2-3 days and started as light pink (read about this but never had this colour before) and then changed to a rusty brown/red colour.

TTC number 2 and on cycle 7. Spoke to GP, apparently can happen after c section/pregnancy/getting older. I've been referred to have a scan and bloods in case.

Completely thrown me, my cycles have changed since ttc too.. it's sooo confusing!

I’m currently pregnant and the cycle we conceived on I had this during and then after sex! I’ve never had it before but it was like bright light pink blood. It’s apparently quite common if you’re having sex when ovulating because of something to do with your cervix and it being irritated by sex but its nothing to worry about and as I say, I’m 23 weeks pregnant now and that happened the cycle she was conceived! I get spotting for 2-3 days prior to ovulation every month, have done since my most recent miscarriage (5 months ago) and had it on and off before then. It's definitely not to do with too much sex for me 🤣

I'm 40 and had it for the first time along with a few days of backache, this month.
Had never heard of it before but searching Mumsnet, seems it's fairly normal. I'll see if it happens again and get it checked just in case. Was two days after DTD so don't think it was that for me.
Hope not perimenopause but maybe due to age.
