Ovulation tests

Hi all, I have just started to use ovulation tests to try to pin point when I'm ovulating after trying to conceive now for 16 months. Is this a negative or positive ovulation test? 😊

The line will be as strong as the control line when positive. It's hard to tell without tracking for a cycle but it could mean you're beginning to peak or have peaked. Keep them going for a few days and see if they get darker/ lighter and keep up the sex!

As eatthecake says, it’s hard to tell unless you regular track your cycle. For me it would mean I was going to get a properly blazing positive in a few hours. When my tests begin to darken I start testing twice a day so that I don’t miss the surge as mine are short lived. By the next day I would have a negative test again.

Hi there FairyLou Xx I would def go for it (!) when like that and get busy ;) I used first step thin test strips - Mine was a little less than yours & I have just found out I’m pregnant. It got a little stronger the following 2 days but no more than it’s is showing on urs (&partner was away so couldn’t do the deed then anyway lol!). Also I came to realise that my first step thin strips ovulation tests were VERY weak compared to First Vue from Home Bargains which were blazingly strong if caught at peak! I found that out after 3 months of getting weak tests. On the third month (most recent and successful ) I tested on the 3rd day of line showing. There was such a difference between the 2 makes! @Fairylou123123 how did you get on? Mine are below and i dont have a clue whats happening in my cycle haha! Been on the pill for 10 years so unsure if my hormones are up the wall as mine went darker on day 5 of my cycle.

Xxfifixx89 Still no pregnancy for me but I started getting alot of pains around 1 month ago now and I booked a private scan to check for any problems. The sonographer found I have PCOS and I haven't been ovulating. I took the private scan photos to my GP and he prescribed Metformin. I have been taking the Metformin now for 2 weeks and have just got a bleed yesterday.

Hi everyone,I need advice please. I've only now started using LH tests and tracking ovulation, I'm not sure if they should be darker or have I ovulated ? This middle one was cycle day18 was this my potential peak?
