Coenzyme q10 recommendations

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendation for coenzyme q10? - specific brands and dosage?

I heard it can help with egg quality and I have PCOS so want to make sure I'm doing everything I can.

I take omega 3 and proceive conception but that only contains 25mg of coenzyme q10.
Thanks

I'm not in the UK so can't help too much, but I've seen people recommend Holland and Barrett. I just got mine from my local pharmacie, 120mg seems to be the highest dosage round here and it's done fuck all. If I was in the UK I'd try Boots and H&B, good luck!

I’ve got some from boots high strength 100mg. It worked for me last time but I did take higher strength from Amazon. See what happens this month as first time taking them this time trying!

What actually is this and how does it help egg quality?

I got Solgar Ubiquinol 100mg from H&B.

@worrywilma from a fertility clinic's website I found online.

Thanks all!

I feel abit apprehensive buying them from Amazon rather than specific supplement shop. But probably just being abit over anxious.

Has anyone been recommended a specific dose by their fertility clinic at all?

@Olika thank you!

Not sure about dose but I have heard people taking 100mg which I did as well. I had a chat with a sales person at H&B who has studied more into fertility as her friend was struggling and needing help. She said to pay attention it's Ubiquinol as it has bigger impact. I googled this and it says:

Ubiquinol is the active and bioavailable form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), while other forms of CoQ10, such as ubidecarenone, need to be converted to ubiquinol prior to utilisation by the body. Ubiquinol is naturally present in the body, with around 95% of plasma CoQ10 in the form of ubiquinol.
