Hi everyone. I posted before about not having any periods since coming off depo. But in October the 14th I had some brown discharge sorry for info for 2 days then I tried a test was negative. The next month then 3 weeks an 5 days later I had the same again but this time lasted for 4 days. This month I had what started off brown for 2 days went into blood for 4 days. After 7 days I was just doing my own thing and felt wet went to the toilet to check an I had brown slippy discharge just the once nothing after or should I say just tiny specks when I wiped now today 3 days later I have a pinkish discharge. Anyone had this? I'm pretty busy with work up until Christmas so can't really get into gp although I feel as tho they aren't much help thanks x

It's normal to experience irregularities coming off hormonal contraception. It can take months for body to balance out and establish a normal rhythm.

I do understand that it'll be all over the place it's been 15months this since depo ran out 18months since last injection. I didn't add onto my top one I am not using anything to protect myself when we dtd. Last time I went to see my gp I was told I'm probably menopausal and they have no test on nhs to check it out. Kinda hoping it's not the case but if it is there's not a lot I can do but thanks for getting back

That's an odd thing for GP to say, what are they basing this on? How old are you if you don't mind me asking.

I'm 35 and because I have had the bouts of brown discharge with minimal bleed but I didn't go back with the last one I had which was more so a normal bleed. From keeping track I should have another period in 6/7 days
