Line Eyes Please...

Hi,

We've been TTC our first for nearly a year and a half now and we've just had our initial appointment at the fertility clinic.

I'm due my period next week but have done two FRER. I saw the faintest line this morning (haven't attached pic as camera won't pick it up) and just done another now... is this positive?

Looks positive to me. There's a clear line. Congratulations 🥳

That looks encouraging to me.

These tests have been withdrawn from sale however, due to them having second lines fresh from the packet. This meant that when women in the USA used the associated app to scan the tests, the app kept giving false positives.

That said, having examined 100s if not 1000s of these, your second line does look stronger and pinker than the fake second lines. So I wish you every bit of luck!

Positive 100% looks same as mine at 10dpo I'm now 20 weeks

Assuming you have a typical (28 day) cycle, if your period isnt due for another week then, it's very very early to be testing positive.

I'd be cautiously optimistic and try testing again in a few days.

I don't have a Boots nearby but I have ordered some more FRERs and Clear Blue Digital to try if the line continues to develop

I've got some Easy @ Home tests and there is a faint line on these too. Same with the Coop cheapies but not sure if they are reliable.

AF is due in 4 days.

Not getting my hopes up just yet!
