Proceive - methylfolate versus folic acid

Hi,
This is probably a stupid question but I am taking proceive preconception multivitamin. I quite like them and haven't had any issues or changes to my cycle. They contain recommended amount of methylfolate form of folic acid.

Do I need to take folic acid tablets in addition to the proceive?
Or is the methylfolate which it contains OK.

Thank you!

The proceive capsules have the daily recommended amount of methyfolate so you're fine to just take them.

I take an additional 400 on top after reading It Starts With The Egg as I'm 34 and had a miscarriage earlier this year but I actually don't think it's strictly necessary, I'm just taking it as it makes me feel like I'm doing something!

Thank you! I know the feeling of feeling like you are always trying to do something.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

I'm 34 too. I haven't read it starts with the egg but does it recommend more in older women? Or if previous miscarriage?
