How many months did it take you?

Technically it's been 3 weeks of TTC (unprotected sex). I know I am over reacting. But I had a tiny bit of blood today, and a negative FRRR - due AF this Thursday 14th.

I was hoping to be pregnant but looks like it's not meant to be. Appreciate I am overreacting, but I have had CC 2 years ago and concerned about it returning so want a baby pretty soon. I just sat and cried, and I know it's silly and most women struggle for years, but the cancer really scared me and I want one before it might be too late.

How long/how many cycles did it take you to conceive - assuming no issues with fertility. I am 33 for reference.

I was extremely lucky. My first pregnancy was accidental (condom split, MAP failed), my second was the second cycle, my third was accidental (pull out method failure).

It took me 7 months with my first and 15 months with my second🧡

It took me nearly 2 years with my first and I suffered a miscarriage too. Second was 1 month :)

First month and twins, I was 33. To say I was stunned was an understatement.

It took 1 year with a small break the summer. Im 34 with no fertility issues. my little boy is now 8 weeks old. Wishing you all the best xx

1 month of trying each time but only 2 of the 4 conceptions were viable. MMC, DD1, DD2, MC.

DS1 took about a year. I had a lot of stress going on at the time and obsessed every month about conceiving. I had a blood test to check I was ovulating and my husband did a home sperm check. All came back normal and within 2 months of those results I fell pregnant. My second pregnancy happened the first time we had unprotected sex. My pregnancy unfortunately ended at 13 weeks due to Patau’s syndrome. 3 cycles later I fell pregnant with our rainbow baby. I am currently 23 weeks. I wish you all the best with your pregnancy journey. Easier said than done but try not to stress. Keep yourself busy every month and be kind to yourself ❤️

Over two years with our first, now getting on for two years into ttc our second.
On the plus side tho, I have only ever got one BFP in my life and that’s my son, so at least I haven’t had the heartbreak of miscarriage. Sending love to anyone who has 💐

We're on cycle 11 after a MC on cycle 2 😔

Just to add, we've both had tests and everything has come back normal.

We got pregnant within 3 weeks of trying, after we got married. I found out at the 12 week scan that nothing had formed and basically there was nothing in there.

It took me a year to get pregnant after that. I'd become obsessed with getting pregnant within that year and entered a crazy cycle of pregnancy testing, looking for cervical mucus and signs I was pregnant.

4 years later we decided to try for another baby. I felt blessed we had a child but my DH wanted another so I said let's just see what happens.

I got pregnant in around 3 months.

I have a son and am now trying for our second. This is my 4th cycle and I'm due to ovulate later this week.

I've been pregnant 4 times in total but the others ended in losses before 10 weeks.

With my now 4 year old I became pregnant the first cycle, but had an early miscarriage. We tried again the next month and he stuck. I had a miscarriage when I was a lot younger after an accidental pregnancy and my most recent loss was in July at about 9 weeks. We had tried for 2 cycles for that pregnancy.

I'd recommend buying easy@home ovulation tests and using the Premom app.

First time both times. I was 29 & 31

First proper period after stopping the pill, so one month. Was taking COQ10, folic acid and other vitamins before ttc though. Not sure whether they contributed or not

10 months when I was 27.
I had phases of being unprotected but not really trying after that and have never again been knowingly pregnant (haven't "tried" since my only due to health problems, I am nearly 37)

6 months with 1st, 2 months with 2nd. That was without 'actively' trying although obviously we were trying, but I wasn't tracking ovulation and we weren't having sex regularly every month etc. we were just off birth control and continuing life as normal.

@Ceebeebee87 I think stress may have something to do with it - had heavy few weeks with our family members health. Lots of hospital visits etc.

@MrsJPinkman Exactly how I have started to behave - although for different reasons, but the obsessing! Obviously been driven by traumatic events. I am just going to switch off from it and hope it happens soon .

Took over 3 years, no actual fertility problems. Which I think made it harder in a way, for me anyway, as there was nothing to "fix". Your feelings are valid though regardless of how long you've been trying. I hope it happens for you soon x

2 years of IVF 😜 4 transfers!

Ttc officially since 10/2022 (but stopped protecting somewhere end of August 2022) and no bfp yet!!

It took more than a year of just having unprotected sex, but we conceived the first month of using the premom apps and temperature tracking. Turns out we were getting ovulation time totally wrong, not helped my massively irregular cycles.

Got pregnant first time trying but it ended in a chemcial.

Tried again for the next 2 months without success.

Got pregnant again in month 4 (current pregnancy).

Aged 31

First two within one cycle !

currently been TTC for two years with this next one and no sign of anything :(:(

17 months with first, accident, then first try with 2nd.

Age 37 here first month with first at 20..second took 6 months at 24...now on month 5 ttc baby 3 😢worried I'm to old now but hoping for a bfp soon
