Af just arrived so I'm officially out for this month :(

But onto new beginnings!
Trying to conceive for 2024 <3

I dont do any tracking we dtd on a regular basis and I usually get signs I'm ovulating. I might start to track it if it takes a while to fall pregnant. I'm still waiting on my first af since we lost our little boy. It's due anywhere between 3rd Jan - 17th Jan 🤦‍♀️
I just feel like I've had so so much medical poking and prodding that I don't want to medicalise ttc just yet with temperatures and so on.

@UnderstatedElegance im so sorry you lost your baby. I get you that you just want to do it and let it be! This is our first month for baby number 2 but we’ve only DTD once and I think I’ve missed ovulation. My body isn’t doing what I expected or what the apps say.

Ahhhh so the plot thickens.. took a strip yesterday pm & it was lightning... took one this morning and boom SUPER DARK! 🤣🤣 but I definitely don't think I'm ovulating now, I think I have already! I've also read your LH can surge a bit before AF, so it could be that... Who knows! 🙈🤷‍♀️

I don't know what right method, etc works to be honest, I even know.of women feeling their own cervix (I'm a little too chubby for this, and personally it gives me a bit of the ick! That's just me though) but I don't think anything would be 100% accurate if I'm honest, the clearblue digital ovulation tests seem to be the closest at the moment, although pricey!

So a new year begins tonight ladies! I don't know about you all but this year can honestly 🖕🖕🖕 for me! It's been the worst. My daughter & DP are literally all that's kept me going, but I've survived!
Anyone got big plans? We are allowing DD to stay up till the bells with a glass of apple juice 🤣🤣 she's very excited

Couple of days back I had a dream about having a baby boy, today I had someone who isn't related come round with a younger boy. He was adorable.

I'm hoping that this is my sign that this month I'm actually going to conceive with a boy?

Might be the world playing tricks..but I still hope.

Only symptom shall I say at the moment is emotional / short tempered

Funny you say that @starryx my little one has been telling me for 3 days they want their baby brother now. They’ve always been anti another child and it’s came out the blue as we are careful not to speak about it in front of them esp when we are only beginning to try!

I am confused with ovulation. Don't think my app is right, Google says I should be ovulating now but I don't feel anything (I normally do!). Just going to dtd often and hope for the best x :)

That’s the tactic I’m going with @GoldenArrow i don’t want to get sucked into ovulation tests etc too quickly as I know I’ll get far too much in my head about it. We’re just going to have sex every day this week haha! I can usually tell with my CM when I’m ovulating. Hoping for an easy journey

I have been quiet for the last few days as we had loads of family visits and then unfortunately my 14 year old dog passed away yesterday and suddenly my energy for TTC has gone. I am 8dpo and not tested because I am just not feeling it. I am not sure grief will help with TTC either. I may test tomorrow or leave it until Thursday as it is my husbands birthday on Thursday.
I hope everyone is ok.

Hey everyone, quick question

I'm due to ovulate in the next 3-5 days. I always get cramping a few days before. Usually after cramping, my LH peaks like 48-72 hours later, like clockwork.

However this evening the cramping has started and been so unbearable and painful. I have endometriosis but I don't usually get issues with that since my surgery until a few days post-ovulation up until I'm on my period.

Does anyone else get cramping before ovulation and has anyone else ever had it really badly? No pain relief or hot water bottle is working so I don't know why but I'm slightly concerned. Like I said I usually get some cramps but never this bad.

I broke and tested today at 12 dpo...negative. 10 months TTC now after a MC last March. So so frustrating! Starting to think there has to be a problem.

Ooo heres hoping that this maybe the sign for both of us 💗

Sorry tmi but does anyone feel like when they DTD, when their partner pulls out it all just comes out with him? 🤣 drives me mad but don’t know how to stop it!

joining this thread TTC this year I’m 32 on Sunday and DH is 31. We eloped in October 2023.

had two weird cycles this month and last where five days before I was due on I had brown discharge.

rang the doctors and was basically told go away and come back if you don’t see any charge in 3 months.

Hey @elleaddams I have endo too. Yes, I get cramping like this mid cycle. The only relief is a tens machine for me, best money I have ever spent! I hope your cramping disappears soon. I've had strange light brown bleeding when I wipe this morning and seened to spot brown blood for about 4 days after my period earlier this month. All very weird. I'm very confused by my body/cycle! I DTD 27th, 28th, 31st and DH has come down with the flu so think I'll miss the next couple of days x

Flashing smile for me this morning! I’ve been known to have flashing ones for ages though, but hopeful it is a sign of ovulation ahead 🤞🏻 cycles very from 35-50 + days! I’m also temping so 🙏! Month one ttc baby 2, after trying for a year for our first! Good luck everyone!

Checked Flo and thought I'd be having a 27 day cycle this month but my past cycles have been:

28 days
26 days

29 days
29 days
24 days
30 days

25 days

So who bloody knows at this point 🤣 been tracking periods since Feb because of my endo but not ovulation etc.

7dpo here and my stomach had some minor weird cramps earlier.. like hormonal but not usual. Implantation maybe??

I did think that would be it. LH surge hasn't happened yet but the back pain today following yesterday's cramps has been UNBEARABLE. I'm also so fatigued.

The lead up to this month's ovulation is a physical struggle, especially considering I'm due to dtd tonight as we're doing smep method this morning. My partner has offered a sensual massage when we get in bed to soothe my pain and help with the mood 😂😂😂

I thought I got off to a false start and didn't ovulate in December as my Clearblue fertility monitor never detected a peak. We DTD around my predicted ovulation time anyway just in case. After 20 days I'd predicted 'high Lh', I tested the machine with water and it still came back high, so there is actually still a chance I ovulated.

This puts me somewhere around day 7 or 8, I recon. AF due 7th January, so we will see. The error has certainly helped with the wait as I didn't find out the machine was broken until quite a few days in.

I wouldn't say I've had any symptoms thus far, but I did have some weird feeling in my abdomen yesterday and a lot of bloating with some nausea today. If AF arrives on time, I'll be back in my fertile window from the 14th January.

Can anyone recommend affordable ovulation strips please?

@elleaddams oh it's so draining and exhausting, both physically and mentally. The back pain sounds horrid. Hope the massage does the trick 😆 and leads to a BFP!!!
