Hello all,
I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice or a similar experience about not finding a LH peak- I have previously posted about this and some lovely people have commented but as time goes on I get more and more anxious, so if anyone could provide any words of wisdom to help put my worries mind at ease that would be amazing! I just want to know if it’s still too early to go to the doctors, I know they say it can take a year but isn’t that just for people who can find their ovulation peak?

For context, I’m 28 years old, and I’ve been off hormonal contraception for nearly a year. I have regular periods which range from 25-29 days, with an average of 27day. Me and my husband (31) are on our 5th cycle of TTC. I tend to notice creamy, watery or even sticky cervical mucus but rarely EWCM.

For 4 months I’ve been testing for ovulation and have only received a positive result for one cycle (October- receiving a positive result on CD14)). This cycle, I am currently on CD14 which I know there is time to still ovulate.

In September (first month of testing) I used a combination of strip and digital tests- changing from strip to digital as I really struggled to understand the strip results. I started testing CD8 with the strips and then using the digital tests from CD17 till CD22. I only tested once in the morning though (FMU).

In October I started testing earlier from CD5 using the digital clear blue tests, again using FMU as advised by the instructions. All negative, until CD14 in which I received a negative in the morning but I started to experience cramps in the afternoon and held off drinking of 4hrs and received a positive result at 6:17pm. My first and only positive peak result.

November time, I started testing from CD8 but this time in the afternoon as I got my peak later in the day and had read up at this point to find that it was best to use later in the day urine. Then at CD14 tested twice a day morning and afternoon/evening, up until CD24 when I stopped as I started spotting. This spotting was very light and lasted until I started my period after a 27 day cycle.

Now up to date and on my December cycle and I’ve been using clear blue advanced digital since CD5 testing morning and afternoon/evening. On CD5 during the afternoon I got a flashing smiling face and, now on CD14 I’ve received a flashing smiley face everyday and on every test which has been twice a day.

I’m just wondering if I should be contacting my doctor and asking for some advice/tests or if I’m being dramatic and everything seems completely fine? Just don’t want to get to the year point and then realise I should have gone in earlier because I’ve not been finding my peak.

I’ve also started temping this month, this is quite confusing but I’m inputting it into the app FF but interpretations are a hard to pin point (I’ve attached my chart incase this helps). I also have been using strip tests and inputting them into Premom, the highest result has vern 0.25 which is classed as low, which I got this morning.

I know this might seem a bit overkill but I do have OCD so I don’t do things by halves! thank you for those who have read my long post and took the time to reply.

baby dust/sparkles and any other form of luck for everyone 😂🥰
