We have a 2 year old little boy and have decided we’d like to have another in the future so we’re currently in the stage of not actively trying but not actively preventing. I had my last depo injection in August, my period returned 2nd November and I’m currently 6 days late (according to flo, I’ve never had regular cycles) I’ve taken a few pregnancy tests which have all been negative, I picked up some ovulation tests a couple of days ago which I’ve never used before so it’s very new to me! I took one on Tuesday which was really faint and I’ve just took another which is a lot darker (picture below) but still not positive as it’s not quite as dark as the control line. I’ve had no signs of af or pregnancy and really don’t think I am pregnant, just really confused! Has anyone been through similar and what was the outcome? Do I just have irregular cycles and I’m overthinking it?

Any advice?

It can take a while for body to balance out after hormonal contraception.

Very likely you are experiencing irregular period.

It’s not the first time I’ve come off the depo however the first time my periods were every other week and very long (up to 11 days at a time) I’m assuming it’s possibly something to do with my body changing after having a baby. It’s just thrown me off!
