Mid cycle bleeding and ttc

I had a miscarriage in September and I had my first period a month after however, last month, I started spotting mid cycle but hadn’t ovulated, and then I ovulated two days after the bleeding stopped. The mid-cycle spotting started 10 days after my period stopped and lasted for seven days, and I then ovulated two days after and the same thing is happening again this cycle. I came off my period 10 days ago and I’ve started spotting again but no signs that ovulation is near. Is this a problem and could this have stopped me from conceiving last month? I’m just a bit worried that I won’t conceive again this month because of the mid cycle spotting. has anyone had this after a Miscarriage Before? It’s browny-red and only a small amount throughout the day on a panty liner

I would really speak to a doctor if you are continuously spotting. I think it can be quite common to spot during ovulation, and also after ovulation if you have low progesterone. If you're spotting before you have even ovulated, there is probably another issue at play.

As you have recently had a miscarriage, it could also be your hormones. If it happens again for a third cycle, you should 100% see your GP.

It's hard to say if it will affect conception as I can't say what the blood relates to. If it's a thin uterine wall then it could affect implantation. If it's a tear or something like that then maybe not.

@userdec082 thank you, if I don’t conceive this cycle and it happens again next month I’ll go to the doctors 🤞🏼

Hi, what happened in the end ? Having something similar myself atm🥴

@bsummer Hiya, I went to the docs and they looked at my cervix and turns out I have something called cervical ectropion which is harmless and can cause midcycle and early pregnancy spotting/bleeding but doesn’t interfere with fertility. I ended up conceiving around Christmas time and I’m now 16 weeks pregnant 😊

Ah thanks , I have been told before I have a cervical ectropium but hasn't caused any bother in a few years .
That's great, congratulations 😃 xx
