Hi ladies,

I’m doing a tracked cycle with my doctor and I’ve been using meriofert to help me grow my folicles however my clinic is closed today and I’m so unsure what I’m meant to do! I have my Ovitrelle trigger to use when I hit my LH peak however usually I peak early hours of the morning so I would take my trigger that same evening however I’ve peaked this evening and a few hours ago I took my last meriofert so I’m so unsure when I should trigger?! Do I trigger now or wait till tomorrow I don’t want to be too late :(

Not entirely sure. But if you post on infertility forum you may attract users with more experience on this. Good luck

In IVF cycles, Ovitrelle is usually taken in the evening, and egg collection is usually around 34-36 hours later in the morning. I don't know if there's any other significance to it usually being taken in the evening other than egg collections needing to be in the morning, and counting backwards.

If your clinic told you to take the trigger the day you see the LH peak, and you have seen it today, I don't see why you couldn't take it today.

Probably best to call your clinic in the morning either way, but I would imagine the timings don't need to be super precise if there's no egg collection involved.
