Sperm Analysis Test

Hi,

Name change on here but would anyone be able to help interpret my partners recent sperm test please? Doctors have claimed as normal but I'm concerned at the 'ideal forms' which I'm assuming is the morphology of the sperm.

I’m no expert but I think it would help if you can share the results? When we were TTC we had sperm issues so I have some idea.

Ideal forms is morphology. Would usually need to be >4% to be considered in the "normal" range

Hi.. We were told partners morphology was 2% but they weren't very worried about this alone! We are now due an induction next week with our little girl. Try not to stress it will be okay

@ThirdTimeLucky27 do you mind me asking how long it took you to conceive? The doctors haven't suggested anything and are happy with the results but I can't help but worry 😔

It did take us 18 months but we had a lot of stress at the time as well. We were finally given an appointment with the fertility clinic and that morning I got my positive test. Have you been trying for a long time? I completely understand how you feel I got to the stage where I didn't know how much longer I could keep dealing with the disappointment every month, it was all I could think about. Try to stay positive ♥️

@ThirdTimeLucky27 Aww okay, congratulations 🥰. We actually fell pregnant on month 2 of TTC but it ended in a chemical unfortunately.

All the other numbers seem to be okay I think? 78million per ml for sperm count and 61% rapid or progressively moving. It's just the morphology but hopefully with some dietary changes and fertility supplements we can make some positive movement on that x
