Sainsbury test- false positive?

I took a sainsbury pregnancy test this morning at 12dpo and it looked a bit wonky but came back positive. It wasn't first morning urine. I took another test from the same box just now and it's totally negative. Has anyone else had this? Will go buy a clear blue for tomorrow morning...

First urine has a higher concentration of hcg - so potentiality a positive result.

Test again first thing tomorrow morning

Thanks. I will do that. Just strange as first test wasn't with FMU. Maybe the test was faulty.

As the test line is broken (it doesn’t go all the way to the top) I’d class it as a faulty test. Shitty pregnancy tests you’d think after all this time of them being in use they’d get better by now, I can’t count the amount of times I’ve had a faulty one. I’d retest first thing tomorrow morning, good luck!

@WolfMother326

Just wondered if it was a false positive?

WolfMother326 · 11/04/2024 23:16

@RedRobyn2021 yes it was a false positive, it was pretty upsetting. But I was very lucky and fell pregnant the next cycle. Would never use these tests again.
