Blood tests after two miscarriages

Hello, I've not posted on here before so forgive me if this should be somewhere else!

I have a beautiful boy aged 2, born after the most straightforward pregnancy and birth, but have hit some problems trying to have a second. I've so far had two miscarriages this year, both before 8 weeks. We've decided to take a break for a few months as I feel very physically run down after the second, but the EPU recommended a whole list of blood tests to check there aren't any obvious problems. My GP has scheduled these in for tomorrow.

I was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and learned anything useful from blood tests like this? Has anyone received a diagnosis/treatment that has allowed them to go on and have a successful pregnancy?

Getting pregnant doesn't seem to be an issue and I had no problems with my first.

I don't know anyone else who has been through this, so am feeling a bit alone.

I had blood tests after 3 MC 2 weeks ago from the GP. They came back clear and he's now referred me to gynae, waiting on my letter now. Not sure what will happen then. How old are you? Im 27 and was trying for a year with the 3 MC, no problem getting pregnant either, they just won't stick

I had my bloods done through the GP and they were all clear (they check all the basics including thyroid). As I've had 2 MMCs and a chemical I got referred to miscarriage clinic and had my appointment earlier this week where they took specialist bloods for autoimmune issues and blood clotting issues. It'll be 3-4 weeks for those results to come back then I'll have a follow up x

I'm 33.

I'm not really supposed to have been referred for anything yet having only had two miscarriage but the nurse at the EPU was lovely and gave me a long list of recommended blood tests (including the ones relating to autoimmune disorders and blood clotting I think) and said some GPs are sympathetic. My GP has booked me in for tests, but I've not spoken to anyone yet, as I just submitted the list on their online form and just got a response saying I'd be booked in. I don't know if they've approved the full list.

I'm hoping to get a real appointment and actually talk to someone, even if the results come back clear.
