Is this positive - weird situation!

Please help! I have never been in this situation before 😬

had my coil out 29 days ago. We had sex on the day of removal but DH withdrew. Nurse said I should do a pregnancy test after 3 weeks to check. About a week after removal we got carried away and had unprotected sex but again withdrew.

had some bleeding immediately following Iud removal but nothing since. I tested earlier today (4 weeks after removal) and got a faint line on a 99p test after about a minute. Tested 2 hours later using another 99p test and got a definite negative… ! I splashed a bit of wee around when I did the first one - could this affect it? Read it immediately and after about 2 mins, then took the photo.

i have two DD aged 2 and 1 so I am panicking rather a lot!!! When I got pregnant with them (and once before that we couldn’t continue) I never had any faint lines, just clear ones, so I was sure.

does it look like a positive to anyone? Why would the next test be negative straight away?

Are you referring to the line at the top of the left hand window? Looks like a definite line (although the picture quality is poor) but it's in the wrong place so I would probably get a different test and try again.

Hi OP, that test is negative. The small line running in the opposite direction looks like it's invalid. And if you've re-tested & it was negative, I'd go with that.

Yes, poor quality because I was super panicking in an ASDA toilet with my youngest 😅 wanted the photo for clarity!

Yes, I thought the direction was weird too! I’d be counted as late for my period but with just having had a hormonal IUD removed, got no idea where I actually am on my cycle.

That’s happened to me before with a clear blue. Line was in wrong direction. It’s an evap. If you press the window the line will disappear.

Ah i chucked it straight away! I thought evap was just a good amount of time had passed? It was read at one minute and again at 2 mins

Not a question I can answer @Outliers as I just got a hormonal iud removed 29 days ago 😬 the nurse said to test after 3 weeks. It’s been just over 4 and now getting these confusing results!

@NorthumberlandParent oh lol. Well I guess try test again with your first pee in the AM with a cheaper strip test.
