Ultrasound advice 🙈

I went for an ultrasound today to check for ovarian cysts. The sonographer couldn’t see anything there but said I had very thick womb lining and that my corpus luteum had a good blood supply still and to make sure I test for pregnancy with a little wink! We’ve been trying since July so I’m trying so hard to get my hopes up. Has anyone else ever been told this? Or can shed light on what it means? I’m due on on Saturday!

It sounds like maybe they think you might be pregnant but it’s so early they can’t tell for sure yet? I would follow the advice and take a test in a few days. I tested positive before my period was due when I was pregnant with my son.

I’m absolutely not a patient person so I’ve bought some tests to do tomorrow 😂 okay that’s what I’m hoping! Thank you ☺️

Could I ask what the outcome was please? I have an ultrasound booked in next week when I'll happen to be around 9/10dpo and I'm wondering what they'll be able to see/tell...

@Leoladyttc1 I don’t know if this is helpful but I had a scan last week and happened to be 7dpo and they said I had a “collapsing” corpus luteum on my left and a maturing follicle on my right- I didn’t turn out to be pregnant. At the time I thought the fact it was “collapsing” probably meant it was dying off or something! Couldn’t find any info on Google
