Is this positive?

I took a test last night and it was very much negative. Today I retest and I see this. It came up within 30 secs/1 min of taking the test.

This is a difficult sensitive situation where my husband does not want anymore children

It does look like a faint positive. You may wish to test again with your first pee in the morning.

Sorry if it's not the result you wanted.

It looks like a run dye? Can happen when you put too much urine on it. I’d take another one.

I redid two more tests but my urine was so diluted it was like the colour of water practically. I can see v faint lines which again came up within a min of taking the test

I’m sorry, that looks positive.

If he doesn’t want any more children then what is he doing about it?

Rainbowdaisys · 27/11/2023 17:53

It's a long story that I'll need to get my head around. I'll test again in the morning with fmu. Thank you for the replies

Yeah the new tests do look positive sorry!

Thank you for your kindness. No need to be sorry, anyone who falls pregnant is incredibly fortunate. But we are not young (both 40s) and my husband openly has no desire for more children. He's said several times before if I 'ever' fell pregnant again I'd have to have an abortion (which I personally don't agree with).
He's refused to go for the snip, but we have been taking other precautions.

Our other children took time to conceive (18 months of very actively trying) and we barely DTD these days so this is an unexpected surprise.

I know "mistakes"/one night stand pregnancies do happen, but at our age and with our children taking so long to conceive (and tried so hard for that I could never fathom how woman were fortunate enough to fall pregnant quickly) this is a bit of a mindful.

I just feel very alone as I this is something I'm going to have to shoulder on my own for a while if tomorrow's test is positive, as I need to think things through and I'm not able to talk to my husband right now.

Thank you

Rainbowdaisys · 29/11/2023 19:41

Thanks for this question, I'm finding it really powerful. I want what's best for the potential baby.... I'm going to go over this question and write a list of fors and against another pregnancy. Thank you
