Is this definitely negative? Please be honest!

Very early to test think I’m only 8dpo.
I can see the faintest of shadow on the test but that’s not visible on a normal pic of it. However, I’ve inverted the colours and I feel as if I can see a slight formation of a second line at the top of the test? What do you think? It’s obviously extremely faint - if there at all, I might have line eyes :)

Try again in a couple of days, it’s just a bit too early. A line wouldn’t just be at the top, it would be all the way down for it to be positive.

Definitely negative. But the overwhelming majority of women test negative at 8DPO. Implantation can occur between 6-12DPO - and even then it takes time for hcg to build in the system.

It's almost pointless testing at 8DPO. Let's say you saw a faint line - you would still continue to test to see if the line got stronger and get confirmation it's not a chemical pregnancy.

In that sense, you're better off waiting until closer to your period (E.g., 12/13DPO) than wasting your money and setting yourself up for disappointment.

@explora 8dpo is so early, I remember when I had extremely low levels of frer I was convinced there was something there but I could only see it with a certain angle and bright light and it wouldn't photograph at all. This looks like a boots test which is a good substitute for a frer. I don't think you're going to get a conclusive answer from others from the picture but I'm interested to see what shows up this morning with first morning urine. 🤞

Could it be an evap? It only appeared after a good 10-15 mins nothing at first. Itching to do another test but abroad atm and don’t really have access to any shops that would sell tests until Thursday. I’ll only be like 12 or 13dpo then so it’s not too long in the grand scheme of things but itching to know

Not yet. Retesting tomorrow morn… when I can hopefully find somewhere to buy a test
