Natural conception with high sperm fragmentation?

I've unfortunately had 6 miscarriages and one remarkable live birth my DS4.

We've been tested for NK cells by Dr Thum and sperm fragmentation, my NK cells are high in number, activation in pregnancy and th1/th2 ratio, so for my next pregnancy I'll be on prednisolone.

Dh's DNA fragmentation came back at 36%!! Dr Thum thought that the nk cells were the primary problem and DH's sperm increases the risk but only by around 8%.

Has anyone heard of an uncomplicated naturally conceived pregnancy with high fragmentation? The thought of waiting 3-6 months to ttc and/or IVF makes me feel sick.

Yes. I can’t remember my dh’s percentage but it was higher than 36% and we have two children conceived naturally, no issues at all. I was also found to have high NK cells but only took progesterone and aspirin and not any other treatment, but I know there are protocols out there that can help. I’m so sorry for your losses. It sounds like you are on the right track with your specialist. The infertility board is very good for advice and support too. All the best.

@Groundhoghcg hi , how did things go with your next cycle ? Did you have ivf ? I am wondering as my partner has DNA fragmentation of 34% and I wonder if I have Nk cells ? Going to get a test to rule this out .. we have had 5 miscarriages.. including 5 transfers ivf .. surly the dna fragmentation alone cant be to blame for the miscarriages? Anyone with dna fragmentation had live birth ? Thanks
