OPKs stayed positive for 8 days.

Has this ever happened to any one else, does any one know why?

I’ve been getting positive opks since cd9, I am now cd16 and still getting them. I do not really get ovulation symptoms, sometimes a I notice a small amount of EWCM.

ive have had random positives during other cycles and been calculating ovulation as the day after my peak, which was cd11 this month. I decided this cycle to start bbt, it is looking like I have ovulated on cd14 according to my temp. So I’m counting today as 2dpo rather than 5dpo from the peak.

everything I am reading online is pointing towards PCOS but I have no symptoms of it. I have 3 children who were conceived very easily. This one is to a different partner who has low count. I have no known fertility issues. My cycles are very regular 28-30 days.

it’s pretty much pointless me using opks to determine ovulation at this point. I’m continuing to test out of curiosity. I’ve done a couple of hcg tests as it’s suggested online it can be a sign of pregnancy, they were bfn.

Also to add, I have noticed my pre ovulation temps are within the range of other peoples LP temps. When I’ve googled the normal range they’re higher than what is suggested.

I had cramps earlier in the day on cd9 and spotting later on that day after having sex (the semen coming back out after dtd was brown liquid) this has never happened to me before.

Hey just want to say I'm currently in the same boat! Had a miscarriage in Sep, a chemical last month and now this ongoing positive opk for over a week.... I'll keep you posted on what happens with me as I'm due af tomorrow x

did yours stay positive all the way through? Or did it go negative then positive again? Have you done a pregnancy test?

Mine are still showing positive af due yesterday and negative hcg test today.... Driving myself crazy as feel nauseous but nothing happening. No idea when or if I've ovulated. I'll keep you posted though

Mine still positive too. It looks like they were all negative on cd18 but I’d say that 3rd one up is positive. According to my bbt I’m 8dpo today but it keeps changing my ovulation date every time I put a new temp in.

I'm not really sure why it would stay high, apparently hcg but I'm thinking it must be something different for me as I'm not convinced I'm pregnant and always been very obvious when I am due to nausea being horrendous and sore breast but nothing obvious this time

I think If it was because of hcg it would have gone negative and then positive again. Mine has just stayed positive all the way through. I done a test this morning and think there is a vvvfl on it as time went on it become more and more faint, done another one since and it was bfn so must be an indent. I feel like I’m making symptoms up in my head. In the past I’ve had every single pregnancy symptom and not been pregnant so i just can’t go off symptoms 🙈

@Bex4567 im 9dpo today according to FF. I’ve done a million tests since and they’ve all been bfn so it must have been an evap.

I was due af on Thursday, still no sign. I've never had a later period in my life! It's a bit of a worry. Opk still looking dark and hcg negative... Must have ovulated late at some point x

I’ve had another faint line yesterday but a million BFNs after it. I’m either 11dpo today or 8dpo. FF keeps changing my ovulation day and my opks have been useless indicators because of all the positives. I’ve still been getting the odd positive but they seem to have gone lighter now.

These were super drug early detection.

That's def positive

@Bex4567 I’ve done loads of different brands since including another Superdrug and a boots early etc, they’ve all been negative.
