Methylfolate recommendations please

I've read a few posts saying methlfokate is better than folic acid. Also women with pcos should take more folic acid than the recommended amount apparently. Currently talking inofolic alpha. Is this enough or can I add methylfolate? Where do you get you methylfolate? Anyone found a non tablet version. I can't handle too many tablets. Thanks!

Yes there is research behind it, but public health/RCOG/NHS etc and health organisations around the world recommend Folic Acid, not Methylfolate, based on more extensive research and evidence.

So if you do believe the methylfolate thing, by all means get the methylfolate tablet, but would suggest to also get the Folic Acid and take both to cover your bases.

I use the same vitamins as @Thetwilightscone 😊

I use proceive max which has methyl folate in. I have the MTHFR mutation so avoid folic acid and take methylfolate instead!
