I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant…very early (4 weeks ish). It’s my third pregnancy but first in ten years. I keep
seeing responses on here saying over 40s need progesterone? Is this something I need to contact my gp about?

I didn't take progesterone for my pregnancy over 40 (just delivered). It was consultant-led, I had more scans and induced before 40 weeks. Took low-dose aspirin after about week 16 on advice of consultant.

I had my second baby at 42. I didn't take progesterone or aspirin.

Same, had my last at 41 and didn't take progesterone. I thought maybe I should have been offered or talked about it as my last baby was after two losses.

As other said you are more likely to be consultant led which equaled growth scans from 28 weeks for me. And then offered an induction at 39 weeks to reduce risk
