Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

So AF was due yesterday, no sign as yet.
BFN on a cheapo test last night.
Today been feeling nauseous, headache.
Had McDonald's burger for dinner and then proceeded to throw it back up (tmi sorry)

With my first 2 was a massive thing all through both pregnancy's that beef made me sick. 🤢
Feel like I'm just going crazy at the minute and wondering if I should retest in the morning with FMU with a clear blue digital.
Help lol. What to do, wait or test tomorrow ?

If it were me I’d probably test again 🤣!

I'm confused so I thought I'd ovulated but out of curiosity did a CB digital just now and got static smiley just now! After 18 days of flashing smileys ... so now wondering if I've ovulated late! And other half is out tonight so not sure if can DTD... thinking maybe morning would cover it? Sorry for tmi!

@Cazzy87 i think the morning should cover it? It says 48 hours after static smiley so surely it will be ok. I had my static smiley yesterday but my son isn’t feeling well so he’s in with me tonight. That’s our DTD out the window tonight 🤦🏻‍♀️ we DTD yesterday and will do tomorrow. Hoping it’s enough too 🤞🏽 good luck x

Hi all 👋🏻 hoping I can hop on this thread with you all. Currently 2dpo in cycle 3 of ttc number 2. Took 13 months & a hycosy for number 1 but very much hoping we don’t need to wait that long this time!

Guys. I’m joining you. Not sure if I’m a phoney though. I’ve been on the fence for the last… almost year now, as to whether we have a third I want to so bad but we have such little space.. and where do I find the time? The money?! But I know deep down I do want it. Aghhh

anyways I’ve said let’s not REALLY try but let’s also not totally not try?? Does that make sense?? The universe can sort of decide for us then? What am I doing 🤣🤣

Anyways, had sex on Thursday which was CD11, but won’t for the rest of the fertile period. That way if it happens it happens, and if it doesn’t it doesn’t

@TTCnothree I'd test again if you can try buy a test that's 10mul that's what I always try do I go in the shops and look if they are 10 or 20 haha I'm sure the Poundland ones have a test that is 10mul good luck fingers crossed for you

I tested this morning with the clear blue digital and said not pregnant 😩 so think I'm out now. still no AF though either. X

Bit of a surprise for me this morning as it seems AF has arrived four days early. I'm usually on time unless I've been unwell, which I haven't, but we're taking it as a positive as it means we can get trying faster.

I guess it's normal to feel a bit nervous? This is the first time for both of us and it's a mixture of exciting and terrifying

@KittyFantastica oh no, that's a bummer!!! I swear the body messes with us when we're TTC!! But as you said, at least you can start a new month a little earlier!

Oh sorry for the confusion - this is our first month and we haven't actually started yet! So it's actually great as it means we can get going earlier than we thought. After this period will be the first go at TTC.

My original predicted ovulation dates this month were slap bang in the middle of Christmas, which would have been a nightmare due to all the family around and being so busy. This works for us a lot better!

I've noticed a little tiny bit of cramping and no more this far though, so it may just be a bit of spotting. I'll monitor the situation, but I don't think I've ever been happy to have an earlier period before, haha.

So I caved this morning and tested. BFN although I kind of expected that, it’s still a bit early. I think I’m 8dpo max.
Will test again in a couple of days.
Did anyone else cave today?!

@MaybeBaby2024 I caved and tested earlier today, BFN. I just feel all over the place now, CD35 and no AF, no typical symptoms of AF that I usually get in the run up either. Keep getting faint pelvic pain / pulling sensation and random bursts of heartburn. Fully accepted that I am not pregnant as the tests keep showing up negative but really frustrated that AF hasn't arrived as I just want to know!

Feeling really obsessed with it all now :(

@MaybeBaby2024 I caved today at 10 DPO (second morning wee) but the test flooded! It does have a pink line though so just need to wait until the morning to try again 🙏🏻

@MaybeBaby2024 I tested this afternoon and BFN, I'm 9/10 dpo depending on which app I go by. Just tested as myself and OH are going for dinner and maybe a couple of drinks this evening. I feel like AF is on the way anyway as I'm a bit crampy 😣I usually only have a 10/11 day luteal phase. Still plenty of time for you though 🤞

Oh @ThelastRolo20 we posted at the same time lol. That's so annoying about the flooded test 🙈 is it easy@home? There's definitely a line there but I've had some awful experiences with them the last few cycles. Fingers crossed for you in the morning 🤞

@@Sez281 I know people have had some issues with them - this is the same batch I used post miscarriage though so I know they aren't dodgy (hoping so anyway). I have a first response so will use it in the morning and hope for good news 😊

I’m on day 22 of my cycle, been DTD every other day for the past 8 days or so.

I’ve been using OPKs every other day or so for the past 2 weeks but LH Levels have been consistently low the whole time.

is there a chance I’ve missed a surge? Or alternatively do you think I haven’t ovulated at all?

very confused right now!
