Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Yeah, you’re totally right. Maybe I’m just actively talking myself out of it to not get my hopes up? But of course, my hopes have permanently be up. I can’t fool myself 😂

I was up at my parents' yesterday and they've no idea we're trying and my mum was telling me what wine she got me in 🤣 then she started talking about a cheese board 🙈 think I'll be playing the "too full" card 🤣

Impatient! 3dpo and it’s draaagging. I was going to test 8dpo (as I had a positive with my son then and my daughter 9dpo), but I can already see I’ll be testing 7dpo despite knowing it would show as negative regardless!

Other than that, I can’t deny that my boobs are a tiny bit sore when normally they are fine even just before AF, so that’s different for me; but I have been here before and realise symptoms mean literally nothing!

So AF finally arrived all be it very late, I'm kind of relieved as least its not a missed one completely i just ovulated late! and least now I can enjoy some festivities 😊 happy Christmas ladies! Fingers crossed for next month now ... x

We are at the in-laws now and I still haven't ovulated. Both of the ovulation trackers I use are still saying no peak detected. Today is day 13 and I've ovulated on day 13 for my last three periods, but typically not this cycle when I'm most anticipating it! We have been DTD every other day within the fertile window just in case and will try to follow the SME plan once I actually ovulate.

It's very difficult to get the time alone while surrounded by family in every room and with MIL putting glasses of wine in my hand every five minutes

@Bb542 I am still drinking. I am not a heavy drinker so don't think the amount of alcohol I will be drinking would affect early pregnancy but I understand why people don't drink during the tww.
I believe today i am 1dpo and I am using the Christmas festivities as a way of making time pass quickly and hopefully easier. TBF last time i was TTC I was quite chill first month as well and it only ramped up in the second month of TTC 🤣

I'm having a glass of Prosecco tomorrow. I'll be 8dpo.

@Applesandcake i feel you, it’s hard not to try have a little early peek, even if we try remind ourselves that it’s unlikely we’ll get a positive at anything before 10 (or 9) dpo, but we just hold on to that small bit of hope 🥲

Hey everyone! I'm keeping up with what you're all up to, just not much to add from me as I'm at the start of a new fertile window now. Think I should be ovulating in a few days, so just getting ready to try again!

I bought the clear blue early test today. Just not sure when to take one. AF would be due on New Year's Eve, so 7 days from now 🤔 do they even work?🤣

@Bb542 I'm due AF around same time as you on the 30th/31st. Hoping the 7 days go by quickly 😅

Me too! It's been dragging so much 😭 I've gone the whole year saying how much time is flying and now it's dragging 🤣

@Bb542 thank you darling, no I haven’t…I will just wait for AF or missed period to test. This is my 1st month trying & I feel like AF will be slightly easier to deal with than a negative test. I don’t have any in the house as I know I would have been testing from 1DPO otherwise 🤣😂🤣😭🙈

I did one of those early Clear Blue tests this morning and got a BFN. I know it's still early but don't have a good feeling 🥺
