But of a background…
I’m 25 years old. I’ve got a little girl who’s 2 and a half we fell pregnant in first month of coming off the pill with her wasn’t tracking.
I came of the pill this time in December 2022 because it just wasn’t working with my body and we went to just use condoms. Since coming off the pill my periods have been quite irregular I’ll post a photo below of the type of cycles I’ve been having the past nearly a year. I’ve had a ultrasound and blood tests and everything’s normal seeing a gynocologist on Wednesday. Anyways in October we decided to start trying for baby number 2 we started way to late in the cycle and that one ended up being a normal 28 day cycle so we knew that month didn’t work.
This month we’ve not been tracking with sticks but trying to dtd every other day since after my period. I felt really hopeful because I’ve been having symptoms like bad bloating, hungry nipples are huge and sore since last Saturday 11th November which is CD 19. So I must of ovulated surly ? Because otherwise why would I be getting pregnancy/period symptoms if I’ve not ovulated already??
But I’ve done a test this morning with first morning urine just a cheap Asda one and it’s negative on CD 26.

Note I also had brown discharge on CD 14

I think it’s good you’re seeing a gynaecologist to discuss your periods.

Id say that sometimes it’s not as easy or quick as you’d expect. Some people get pregnant first cycle and some take a few months/ years sadly.

It took me years with my first baby to get pregnant but I fell pregnant straight away with my second.

When ttc we second guess every symptom but pregnancy symptoms are really similar to period symptoms, it’s just you’re paying close attention to them now.

Id keep doing what you’re doing, dtd as often as you can and you can start using ovulation sticks ifyou feel it would help.

I felt like that too with my periods, especially the first year after coming off the pill. They were probably the worst they had ever been, felt rubbish and had random spotting which made me so hopeful that it was implantation.

Hopefully the gynaecologist can give really good advice. I know how you feel though, the unknown of when the period is going to come and hoping that it’s your bfp. It’s really frustrating.

I have everything crossed for you 🤞
