Hello all,
This is mine and my husbands 4th cycle of
TTC. I’ve been using OPKs for the past 3 cycles-
September- started with strips and changed part way through to digital. Only tested in the AM and never received a positive.
October- digital CB 2 day peak tests used throughout, again only in the morning until I had consistent cramps CD14 and tested in the afternoon/evening and got a positive. I started testing on CD8.
November- digital CB 2 day peak tests used AM & PM from CD8. Currently CD20 and no ovulation peak has been found. I was ill with a stomach bug on CD11 so thought this could cause late ovulation.
All in all, I’m not really sure what my ‘normal’ is however, I have cycles that range from 25-30 days with an average of 27 days and have been off contraception for nearly year. Not finding an ovulation peak has started to worry me- which I’m sure does not help with the matter!
I never seem to have/notice EWCM as it either seems creamy to me or watery or
sticky but I don’t think it’s EW.
I decided 3 days ago that I would also start temping my BBT and for the past 3 days have found a steady increase, however, I know I don’t have enough data to compare to.
I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or have had similar experiences to me. I said to DH if we’re not lucky this month and the next I don’t find my ovulation then I’m going to contact the doctor.
