Hi
Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for a few months now and im trying to monitor cycles and test for peak fertility. I have been using clear blue ovilation tests and i have shown this month to be peak fertility on 8th day off my cycle. Is this nomal ? Is this too soon ? Has anyone else experience early ovulation and how has that effected there fertility journey?.

Thank you everyone for taking time to read this.

You normally ovulate around 12 to 36 hours after you get the peak so you might actually ovulate on day 9/10. If you are ovulating early it may explain why you didn't get pregnant in the first few months as maybe you missed it (think this was the case with me).

I started using sticks on month 3 and was surprised to get a peak on CD11 I had a positive pregnancy test with a good line by CD23. I am now almost 39 weeks pregnant.

Fingers crossed for you x

day 8 seems early but as PP said that's likely day 10. that's early but not out of the realms of possibility.

Just checking you used them correctly and started tested on the right day or your cycle. I see so many people starting on random days and then getting very confusing results

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I have irregular periods and for the first 4 months I never had any peak days but this very well may be because i missed them. I'm pretty sure I'm using the tests correctly and it's a little bit off a wing it for when I start testing in a cycle because iff the irregular periods. Fingers cross this will be the month 😀
