where the hell is af if not pregnant

Sorry I am going out of my head atm.

I have been ttc my 2nd dc for 7 months now but cycle is unpredictable.

I went through a 3 months absence last year put down to a underactive thyroid.

I have had a 23 day cycle and a 33 day cycle on its return.
I am now on cd 41 and no sign of af.

I have tested up until cd 38 and all BFN.

What has happend, have I not ovulated, do I just carry on ttc until the next af thats if it does decide to show itself.

Latest thyroid check showed that tsh is now normal, so why on earth is cycle playing me up.
Please any advice going out of my head.

I did use them once at random but had no idea when I should be testing due to cycle been all over the place also never got a positive.

Ever since I started ttc I have not been able to get a good understanding of my cycle due to it been so unpredicatble.

I do have a supply of cheap opk,s off ebay and am thinking that if I test every day, twice a day, I may be able to determine if I do ovulate.

I was awful last time when I had the 3 month absence with my af I carried out test after test as it happend as soon as I started ttc so I thought I must be pregnant but I wasn,t.

Now here I am again with no af.
My doctor has reffered me for a scan on the ovaries due to irregular af.

In the meantime I am feeling so fed up with it all.

I also bought a batch of them off ebay and tested every day just for a month to see what my cycle was at

Do you think they work or not

Yes. It was the only way I knew where I was on cycle

... oh and have two lovely DDs to show for it
