6 BFP then 2BFN

Hi all! Hoping someone else has been through this and can help me figure it all out! I ovulated 29th nov (17 days ago) we are TTC I was due on on Monday 2 days ago and havnt come on. On Saturday I tested with early tests and had faint line, used 3 tests. On Sunday I tested and had slightly darker liner and a positive digital pregnancy test. I’ve had really sore boobs also. I tested again this morning and it was negative (digital) then did a 2nd one at work and it was also negative. I don’t have any bleeding. Wondering if it could be a chemical pregnancy? Or the 6 I did last weekend were false? Or do I just wait a few days and do another one and hope for the best?!

I would see if you get a positive with the cheap strips or an alternative test. Sometimes the digital test lack sensitivity

ok thanks! I did get the positive from the digital a few days ago before the negative one today but I’ve just jumped on Amazon and ordered some early cheapies to arrive tomorrow

Unfortunately, yes this does sound like a very early loss. A positive digital followed by a negative digital a couple of days later most means you are no longer pregnant

Was going to say the same, just been through similar and my google search for positive then negative test success stories was mental but I really hardly found any and then my period started a few days after. So sorry you are going through this

@SH1990 sorry to hear that you’re going through this! I had the same back in Nov last year - positives on all tests (cheapies, digital and early detection) at 11dpo, got to maybe 15dpo and everything turned negative. So sad! It was clearly a chemical pregnancy. I’ve had no joy since but hopefully you’ll know for sure when you can test again soon xx

Bit down in the dumps, turns out it was a CP. couple of days off work with rom coms and chocolate and time to try again I guess! Thanks for checking in :)

@SH1990 you know sperm definitely met egg so your timing is perfect and you know you can conceive. I just try and reassure myself with these facts. Hope your bleeding won’t be bad, mine was literally 2 days of heavy then nothing so was different to a period.

if you search for success after chemical you will find hundreds of anecdotal stories of bfp after chemicals (this kept me going through my last 2 cycles as they both ended in a chemical)
