TTC after mirena removal

I had my mirena coil out on 30th October, it was a complex coil removal done in hospital with sedation so it was a tricky one. I bled as expected for 7 days after. I have been on 2 coils back to back so haven’t had a ‘proper’ period for almost 10 years (I got light spotting on the first one then nothing on this one which is obviously normal while on the coil)
anyway I don’t remember the exact dates I used to get periods on but I know it was towards the end of the month. I have taken ovulation tests since the removal and these were either negative digital ones or pale lines on normal strip ones. A few days ago there was a slightly darker line but not as strong as the control line on the test.
I was taking the tests first thing in the morning but have since heard that’s the wrong thing to do? I’ve started doing them twice a day now in the hope to get a positive one but would appreciate some advice on when best to take them, how often and if anyone else has had pretty much consistent negative ones? Beginning to worry slightly!

thank you :)

I’d say that you need to give it time for your hormones to settle, and for your body to get into a cycle.

Hi @JennieM94 what happened with TTC? When did your periods come back? I am in the same situation x
