TTC 3rd cycle

Anyone want to join? Our 3rd cycle of trying. I expect to ovulate early next week. I'm not sure what to do for the best, every other day or every day. Also i know you apparently don't have to but do others lie there post sex for 10 mins? I know TTC isn't easy but it's hard hearing how many people catch first time and makes you think you're doing something wrong!

I’ve bought a cup thing to try out…apparently they are quite successful

I'm also going into cycle 4 ...I dont think doing it every day is good to be honest as you don't build up much sperm..were goinf for every other day otherwise it become robotic aswell

Thanks both. Yeah I don't know what to do for the best tbh! We are away this weekend so will likely DTD every day then anyway, I suspect I will ovulate Monday so perhaps we will avoid Sunday and DTD Monday.

If you ovulate Monday I’d probably make sure I did it on the Sunday so that there’s sperm there waiting for the egg to be released. I think I’ve missed a few of mine because I DTD on my actual ovulation day and I think the egg had already been released. Im guessing. But that’s just what I’d do 🥰 good luck!

I actually googled it and it said it's fine to DTD every day through ovulation. So going to go for it.

Hey @TTCnewbies ! We are also on cycle 3 ttc. I use natural cycles and the first couple months I sent myself crazy with temperature measuring etc. so this month decided to stop all that! I knew roughly when I ovulated and leading up to it we did it every other day and then around the ovulation day we did it a bit more…hoping that was enough!

I felt more relaxed because of it, although now im like 5 DPO and can feel myself going crazy again 😂

It worked for me.

I'm currently on cycle 4 ovulating in few days..it never gets ny easyier each month ...feel bit more relaxed this month not putting pressure on myself but its still in the back of my mind

@Bex4567 it's so tough isn't it. I feel like I'm getting consumed by it all. I seem to relax when my period comes because I'm just like 'well it isn't this month' and then when I am around ovulation it's the big tww which is stressful! Argh.

It's definitely hard...currently getting my peak so all systems go then jn the 2ww again 😪
