We’ve been trying to TTC for over a year now and have finally gone to our gp for tests.
I had my day 21 test last week and was called a day later to say I need to repeat it next month, my OH had his tests and has now been called into an appointment to discuss but not until the beginning of December :(
so much waiting - I just want answers so we can start alternative treatments :(
has anyone else had these tests at all? TIA

Hello @Rebeccaemily93 sorry to hear the journey you’re also going through.

Unfortunately a lot of this process is being in limbo and waiting for tests, answers, or just for the next bloody cycle to arrive 😅

My OH had a SA which came back normal and I’m not sure what my day 21 bloods were as it was so long ago (with a previous partner). We’re over a year TTC too and on the waiting list for IVF as I’ve got a less promising history I guess! I have endometriosis and it gives me incredible pain each month so every month without a successful BFP means I’m in agony.

We we’re fortunate to have a BFP nov last year - for the first time ever… but this lasts a few days and turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. Other than that, we’ve not had a sniff of any success!

Try not to worry about what you can’t control (easier said than done) but stress definitely doesn’t help. I take comfort knowing I have a plan and a date in the future to aim towards whether it’s tests, results or referrals. I’d try to take a positive spin on it if you can to help keep your mind and body nice and calm 🥰

Talking through here is always helpful I find too! Xx
