Sorry, this might be a long one!

During my high ovulation days potentially on ovulation day, my partner and I had sex, he didn’t ejaculate inside me though.
The next week I had some brown discharge and cramping, not something normal for me, which lasted for about 4/5 days. The discharge went but the cramps stayed for a couple more days.

I took a pregnancy test when I was 6dpo, an ultra early one (or two!) but both were negative.

I’ve since had bloating, tummy gurgles and clear discharge. Again not really normal for me.

I was due on today. And I’ve not come on, which is really really not normal for me! I am a regular 24 day cycle lady and have been for years! I’m currently 15dpo.

I can’t be pregnant, can I? He didn’t come inside me. I’ve not taken another test as I just think I’m being stupid and the hope and want is taking over my clear thinking!!

I’m 38 a few weeks away from being 39, and am concerned this might be Peri-menopause!

Ah it all sounds so silly and ridiculous, I’m sure I’m really just projecting because I’d love to be pregnant but this is all probably something else!

Sorry for the long message! Just wanted to get it all out really! As it just makes no sense.

Doesn't sound like you are if you're still testing negative when period is due.

May be worth checking with clinic to be sure you haven't got an infection. Just reminded of an experience my friend had some years ago.

Thank you @Outliers I’ve not taken a test since I was 9 dpo, not 6 as I previously thought, I’m now 16dpo and still no sign of my period.

Taking another pregnancy test would answer this question. The previous one was probably too early to tell you anything.
