Thought we could start a new chat for everyone who could potentially get their bfp in December or try again

@LuceNumberTwo @Saffie920 I think the tests are so confusing!! I dont know if im coming or going. Its the waiting that is the worst! I have actually had cramps and back pain today so im thinking maybe i am actually ovulating now.

I think we should all just keep trying and atlesst we will be in with a chance lol x

@LuceNumberTwo and @H938 oh my goodness I know, I feel like you have to be some kind of trained chemist to figure this all out 🤣 To be honest if I wasn't testing ovulation then I would have thought this was way too early for me to be ovulating as it's CD11 and my cycles vary roughly 27-30 days so I think I will keep testing and keep DTD for the next week and see what happens and try to keep calm!! Hoping it works out for us all x

Did one of them test today as I'm CD 27 and I'm usually 28 day cycle so AF prob will come tomorrow or this even...
Only tested as was vomitted out of nowhere last 2 mornings and fine after which I never do so thought it very random..but must have stomach bug...
But got a very clear negative on a boots test...
We dtd a good bit around ovulation etc
Never normally test as I can't handle the disappointment....been a long road....
Hopefully a few more BFP to come this month....

Hope it's ok to join, I'm 4dpo and this is my first cycle TTC. The TWW is so stressful.... I'm far too impatient for this 😅

Im currently on CD 18 but second peak according to these tests! I have no clue whats going on. I have 8 days until next AF 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've been lurking since ovulation day and it's been so helpful reading others experience of being in the same boat. I'm 12DPO today and I've finally caved and tested. It's just a superdrug test, but quite sensitive I think. Am I seeing things here?? Think I might have line eyes... I also feel like AF is about to start but I'm on progesterone supplements so my symptoms have been all over the place!

I find when the test is negative its very clearly negative....

Not entirely sure how many dpo I am as I didn't use sticks but I think I'm a couple days past. I had my usual ovulation symptoms (bloating, cramps, high drive) but I posted the other day about having very little CM this month and I've completely dried up now. Sorry if TMI! I'm hoping this isn't a bad sign in the TWW? I really cannot remember what my cm was like in the TWW the last time I fell pregnant.

@H938 it's possible you ovulated twice? My friend has 1 year old twins but her 1st 12 week scan they said babies are measuring different one was 5 days a head on growth! So she ovulated 2 eggs different times on same cycle. Quite common with twins it means the mother is a hyper ovulater or something it's what a nurse told my aunt when she had her twins a few years ago too

I'm 9dpo and af is 1 day late, had a bfn this morning.
I feel af is on the way so frustrating.

@H938 Wow.. that's super odd..
However, I have read & seen videos on tik tok etc about ovulation tests picking up on HCG alot sooner than pregnant tests 🤷‍♀️ also I seen twins were mentioned 🤣!
I'm have you had anymore ovulation symptoms at all?

I've got cramping & sore boobs today, no idea🤷‍♀️ my lines are all over the place, literally 1 test was a peak, they never went high.. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ oh well, will be a wait & see 🙈

@LuceNumberTwo ive just had standard ovulation pains both times / the first time was the left side and this time right side - also on the forst peak i had a tiny little bit of blood so thought I deffo ovulated then but who knows. Nothing else to report though, feel fine.

The tests confuse me. But we will know next week either way wont we (or your tww starts now) - if not we will try again in Jan i guess 😊

Af arrived this morning. Even though only my 2nd cycle I feel very upset this morning. Probably hormones.

Gonna relax and just enjoy Christmas now not gonna test for the month.

Sending baby dust to all, will be keeping an eye, hopefully loads of BFPs this month 🩷

Hi all,

I was on the November thread and just noticed this one. Period due Thursday, tested today and negative 😢 so confused as I fell pregnant both times (first ended in miscarriage) the first month when using ovulation sticks but this is month two and nothing. Feeling a bit deflated and worrying that it won't happen.

Any advice other than but more ovulation sticks and try again after periods? It's so frustrating this TTC business isn't it!!

@Optimistic2021 sorry you're feeling down. There's only like a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month even if you get the timing spot on so try not to feel too bad it hasn't happened this time around xxx

@LuceNumberTwo well I thought id do one anyway which was pointless as im either 7dpo or 2dpo and it would be too early to tell on both 😂 i will see if i can hold out to Friday. Got a busy week and busy next weekend so hopefully will fly by x

Hi everyone 😊 I'm into cycle 2 TTC #1. Got a positive OPK this morning on CD11 which is a bit early for me (normally around CD14). I need to try not to symptom spot so much this month so I don't drive myself crazy!

Getting more emotional the past day or so.
Nothing major going on aside from that if I'm honest 👍 maybe this is a better sign? Hopefully.
Considering this month I didn't focus as much while trying I have my fingers crossed 🙂

You basically spend your teenage years thinking that someone only has to look at you to get pregnant. Then when you want to get pregnant, you find out about it not being a huge percentage at all.

What is the actual science behind one egg and one sperm just happening to join but other months it just doesn’t happen. It’s so crazy if you think about it to much!
